This student showed his two designers’ work side-by-side on each spread. It’s hard to see in the photos, but the right hand page is always a light gray. This helps create a separation between the two designers’ work. Notice the use of two typefaces (one for each designer). I don’t usually recommend this, but here it works.

This student communicated the variety of work her two designers created by showing groupings of small book covers on some of the pages. I love how she decided to include a bookmark with her catalog.

I think my favorite part of this book is that the student used a print she made in printmaking class as the background for her cover. She was experimental in her approach to the project, and wasn’t afraid to try new things.
