Jonathan Barnbrook  is a British artist famous for his typography, graphic design, and film-making, currently living in London. He is also known for his fonts with controversial names, such as Bastard, Moron, Sarcastic, and Shock & Awe. His aim is to use “design as a weapon for social change.”

I felt that typography was not reflecting what was going on in my life or the way technology was affecting everybody’s lives – yes the technology was affecting invisibly the methods of using fonts but the computer had completely changed the nature of typography and this ideology needed to be expressed in letterform design.

Other projects of his include record cover album and billboard design.
